At Love Out Loud, you’ll gain hands-on experience in marketing and data management while making a real impact in the community.
Our part-time, paid internships offer the chance to apply your academic knowledge in a dynamic nonprofit setting. We’ve designed this experience to be flexible so that you can explore your passions, take on special projects, and gain a well-rounded understanding of nonprofit operations. Along the way, you'll connect with a diverse network of community leaders and organizations across the city.

Assist in implementing a marketing strategy to increase engagement and brand awareness on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Create and schedule weekly content that highlights our partners, initiatives, and impact.
Capture photos and videos at select events to create visual content for social media and the website, building an asset library for future use.

Assist in organizing and inputting data in the implementation of Salesforce.
Support the tracking of relationships between organizations, volunteers, and donors by linking relevant data points.
Gain experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud development by supporting efforts to create and enhance systems to improve our data-tracking workflow.

Help coordinate brainstorming and planning efforts for our annual event in December, Christmas for the City. Assist with marketing materials, partnership requests, etc.
Research and compile a list of relevant grant opportunities aligned with our mission. The intern will also have the opportunity to assist in gathering data and preparing content for the grant writing process, gaining hands-on experience into each stage from research to proposal development.
Develop a thematic social media campaign with a plan for posts, visuals, and engagement strategies, including tracking its success. This could involve interviewing community partners/members, giveaways, highlighting different passions/causes each week, etc.
Open to considering additional project proposals.
What we’re looking for
Proficiency with technical platforms (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Salesforce or other CRM tools).
Strong time management, organizational, and administrative skills to prioritize projects and complete tasks.
Self-starter capable of taking initiative and finding solutions independently.
Digital skillset for creating and sharing content on social media platforms (Canva and/or Adobe).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience with candid/event photography and photo-editing software (preferred).
Open to students (high school or college) and recent graduates.
Previous or current resident of Winston-Salem, NC (preferred).
